Welcome to the breath and body odour survey

This questionnaire was originally devised and modified by Arun Nagrath in consultation with a consultant in metabolic medicine/TMAU and with the assistance of others on the internet body odor/halitosis community, with the intent of using the results to promote funding and research to find a better understanding of metabolic body odor and halitosis.   All sufferers of this condition are encouraged to partake in this endeavor, particularly those who believe that they have bloodborne metabolic odors produced by conditions such as Trimethylaminuria or other unidentified similar conditions, resulting in fecal body odor, fish odor, rotten egg odor, or any other strange smelling body odor or halitosis.

It is the sincere hope of this endeavor to move experts to become inspired and dedicated to the exploration this very devastating problem that substantially limits one or more major life activities in a significant percentage of the human population around the world, including the ability to maintain employment and productive social function, thus significantly contributing to mental illness and possible suicidal tendencies.  These conditions drastically deprives the sufferers from their right to the pursuit of Article 25 (1) of the Universal Declaration Of Human Rights Adopted and proclaimed by General Assembly of the United Nations resolution 217A (III) of 10 December 1948, which states that,

Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control.
